People's Choice Award - Marketing Toolkit

The People's Choice Award is one of the most anticipated GINA Awards as it puts the spotlight on YOU - our valued garden centres and online retailers. This award gives your customers and the general public the chance to vote for their favourite local store, recognising outstanding service, quality, and customer connection. It’s an unmissable opportunity for every retailer to build a stronger connection with your customers.  

Voting is open from 1 August to 31 October 2026.

The marketing toolkit is designed to make it easy to get involved, with a suite of content templates and downloadable files at your disposal (see below).

How to Use the Toolkit and Assets to Drive Votes:

• Use the pre-written email to send to your customers, suppliers and networks.
• Use social images and copy to create and share social posts of your own. Be sure to include the voting URL. 
• Add the email signature banners to your outgoing emails.
• Print and display the flyers at your counter, POS, displays, etc, with the QR code so customers can scan and vote instantly.
  
• Include in your e-newsletter.
• For online stores, put a banner on your Order Confirmation page and/or Homepage 
• And most importantly, encourage, or even incentivise your employees to talk to your customers about it!
